Job Summary
Our client, a network organization that connects Trusts, Foundations, Grantmakers and non-Grantmakers is looking for a Communications Officer. To strengthen Organization’s public profile and stakeholder engagement by leading communications strategy, media relations, digital channels, branding, content production, knowledge dissemination, member communication and the promotion of the Network’s convenings and activities.
Description
The Communication Officer will be required to: Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the Secretariat and members. Regularly review and monitor all membership communications for quality, value, messaging and adherence to the Organization brand. Draft media releases, statements and media briefing notes in conjunction with relevant focal points. Build and sustain Organization’s relationships with members, key partners and other stakeholders through communications. Conduct stakeholder mapping through social media tools to identify potential members, improve service delivery and support stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
BA/BSc/HND , MBA/MSc/MA Experience2 years
